woes of a nurselet continue

hi friends!
guess what? i'm good on my fs time for the year! yay!!! my school schedule is very weird, so i'm having to plan the semester one month at a time, but right now i have september tentatively planned out. so anybody wanna pull some evenings... LET ME KNOW!!! i neeeeeed that. guess what? so far i'm not dead from nursing school! not as bad as i thought, but its only the second week. my tune might change come monday. i dont have clinical tomorrow! (yaaay!) but dont worry, i'll make up for it next week with back to back 12 hour shifts followed by a 4 hour lab. if ever you are cared for by a nurse, hug her.

we're back home from our special assembly day- it was AWESOME! So many people from our congregation had parts/gave experiences, and they were all so encouraging. also, two from our congregation got baptized- congrats to walt and will! so proud of yall! ok, so here are my goals:
1) do whatever it takes to stay in the full-time ministry
2) do better about using my bible in the ministry
3) "recommend myself as minister" of Jehovah in everything i do and go through
4) be more encouraging to my bros and siss!

keep checking on me guys, makes sure i stay on track! love yall!!

good news: meech is building me a computer! how awesome is that? i'll post pics later. well, gotta g-o. i have to be at the hospital briiight and early in the am! love!

scary emails

Hi friends! todaaaaaaay i'm going to talk about....SCARY EMAILS (cue dramatic muzak).
Don't get me wrong, i love the occasional scary urban legend, also the occasional "lock your car doors in such-and-such new way because criminals and rapists have now figured out how to such-and-such by doing such-and-such" email.
My pet peave though, is the email that's sooo untrue and overly dramatic! to spare my own email buddies from the same stress and agony, i (may be a little obsessive, true) check the validity of said emails before forwarding. Here's one i've received a couple times recently:

Just verified this with Snopes and it is REAL.. ALSO WENT TO TRUTH OR FICTION,IT'S on their site also.
PLEASE INFORM EVERYONE you know!
Emails with pictures of Osama Bin-Laden hanged are being sent and the moment that you open these emails your computer will crash and you will not be able to fix it!
1.) If you get an e-mail along the lines of 'Osama Bin Laden Captured' or 'Osama Hanged' , don't open the Attachment!!!!
This e-mail is being distributed through countries around the globe, but mainly in the US and Israel
Be considerate & send this warning to whomever you know.
PLEASE FORWAR D THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS:
2.) You should be alert during the next few days:
Do not open any message with an attached file called'Invitation' regardless of who sent it.
> It is a virus that opens an Olympic Torch which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer!!!!
This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list, that is why you should send this E-mail to all your contacts.
It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it

Uneventful

Hi friends!
I really don't have anything to write about, but I'm trying to be regular with this bulog thing...
Went out in service this a.m. Meech and I were late, so we met the group out in the territory. I talked to a lady who had a husband (?) with ALzheimer's and a grandson who was born at 24 weeks (and is now deaf). She was very pleasant, and we had a really nice discussion, even though she said she "doesn't usually talk" to us. She said she didn't have time for the book, but she would read the "Would You Like to Know the Truth?" tract. After that, Meech met Tony to go to work, and angie and i worked on her phone territory. Almost ALL the nums were d/c! We did talk to two people who told us to call back, which we'll probably do tomorrow. I'll also be doing business territory for the first time! yay!! But i'm sooo not excited lol. Momma Jae is auxiliary pioneering this month (yay momma jae!!!), and so she'll be roughing it in the big forest hills with us tomorrow! Which definitely calls for a girls' night afterwards! I'm doing a sub talk with angie tonight, so i'd better be audi!

time...

this is the last month of the service year! i start school back on the 20th... (boo!)
i wonder if i can get all my time in two weeks....

beginning...

hi friends! i've finally given up my blog rebellion. this is destined to be strange and irregular, but...
we're back home from tallahassee, fl! the trip was absolutely amazing!! i'll have to agree with q that it was a perfect first. hopefully we will get to do unassigned or seldom worked territory every year! as much as i enjoyed it, it is good to be home. i missed my babies! dora has grown sooo much it seems! luigi has gotten a little thicker himself, and pancho is chubby as usual!

susan sent us home with home canned pickles, honey, and some of her out of this world jam and preserves. i wish i knew how to can! :, ~ ( new project?
